A Chicago man was convicted Tuesday of taking pictures and seriously wounding an Iowa sheriff’s deputy throughout a theft at a comfort retailer in 2021.

Donahue fled after the taking pictures and was later arrested after a greater than 12-hour manhunt that ended when he was noticed by a tv information crew.
