The stage is set for a cracking final quarter.
The Kangaroos looked like they were going to run away with it in the third term when Larkey put them up by 33 points.
But against the run of play, West Coast dug deep and turned the tide to kick four of the last five goals and get themselves back into the game.
North still dominate the clearances 32-19 and contested possessions 114-85, while they also lead the disposals 291-261, inside 50s 39-34, free kicks 17-16 and scoring shots 19-14.
Davies-Uniacke (10) and Simpkin (six) continue to lead the way in the clearances, as well as the contested possessions with 17 and nine respectively.
The pair have been superb in the middle of the ground, but North will need another big quarter from both of them with the momentum shifting West Coast’s way in that part of the ground late on.
